I had to make a trip to the hospital, and even though the whole thing had me feeling tense and a little tired, something made me pause as I was leaving the building.

The trees outside were in full bloom... everything was bursting with color. And when I needed it most.

It was one of those moments where you’re stressed, rushing, thinking about a dozen things, and then suddenly you’re just… still.

I let myself look. Really look. The branches were covered in soft petals, some drifting down with the breeze, some catching the sunlight. It was simple, but it was beautiful.

I didn’t plan to slow down, but the blooms made it impossible not to. For a few minutes, the hospital, the stress, the noise... all of it faded into the background.

Seeing those pink petals scattered around the walkway felt like a tiny gift.

So yes, I went to the hospital. Yes, I was stressed. But I also walked through a little pocket of spring that made the day feel lighter.

Or is it the medication I took?
