It started with the traditional Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony last Christmas. That was followed with the traditional Honey Festival in Spring. And then came the traditional Main Street Fair also in Spring. And now the County Fair. 馃グ We are seeing a return to the usual public activities in our town. At long last!!!
By definition, a county fair is one that is usually held annually at a set location in a county, like our county fair grounds, especially to exhibit local agricultural products and livestock.
This year our County Fair is missing the livestock portion, but we are more than happy that it is back after missing in the years 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-restrictions.
There were all sorts of competitions and fun to watch.

There were large and small farming equipment on display also. Do you know how large this was? I tires of this monster truck were taller than me.
There were two buildings full of merchandise and booths of local organizations.
Of course they were in the grounds too.
A county fair without rides does not feel like a fair. And it was a carnival of all sorts.
The tacos were made by the volunteers of our Church. It is a fund raising to build our new Church.
