E Pluribus Unum in latin translates to: out of many (states or colonies), one (nation) —used on the Great Seal of the U.S.1. It is likewise found in coins from the United States of America.

The inscription on American coins is required by law by the Coinage Act of 1873. All contemporary U.S. coins feature the phrase "E pluribus unum." It’s actually a powerful and sincere aspect of American history and national pride.

That was what attracted me to the Unity & Liberty silver round (and bars).

Unity & Liberty Silver Round

This round was produced by Cut Saw Mint in the United States. "E Pluribus Unum" and the words "In God we Trust" speak of the motto of the United States of America.

In this rendition, Lady Liberty wields an American flag while also wielding a sword. The Latin phrase "E Pluribus Unum," which means "From many one," was written above her head and stood for a unified front.

Each round is marked with its weight of 1 oz and purity of.999 Fine Silver.
Intricate micro engravings are present on both sides of the silver round, and when it is moved in the light, they shimmer and gleam.

A "fasces," or bundle of sticks, is depicted on the reverse as an homage to the Mercury dime's reverse design. This fasces represents authority and power. A serpent that encircles the fasces is reminiscent of the flag that Benjamin Franklin suggested to unify the colonies against the British during the Revolutionary War. The rattlesnake has come to represent harmony in modern society.

The Unity & Liberty Silver is produced in 1 oz and 2 oz silver rounds and 1 oz, 5 oz and 10 oz bars. Maybe I will show the bars sometime in the future.

Patriotic designs are among my favorites in silver, and therefore it is what I go for. Some of you find this boring. I don't go for silver designs that may be fun but have very little meaning to me. After all, I am here for the long haul, and I do not want to be stuck with those kinds of silver.
