Three years ago, I planted a tree rose in a pot in my backyard. If there was only one rose plant in the world, I'd chose this!
Double Delight. It is one of the world's famous roses! An award-winning hybrid tea rose.
The blooms start out creamy white with strawberry red. Oh, and no two flowers are exactly the same! The petals are lightly ruffled. It is as if the petals are brushed with deep, rich reds.
And the flowers are stunning. The blooms are huge, up to 6 inches of about 35 to 45 petals and very attractive!
Double Delight is extremely fragrant! Spicy-sweet. It perfumes the garden with a strong sweet and spicy aroma that I love so much.
I may only have one tree rose, but it will suffice to bring me much joy. I shall definitely enjoy this rose plant. Double Delight will be blooming from Spring to late Fall.
