Some of the most well-liked precious metals goods are created by the Perth Mint in Australia. Although the Perth Mint produces a lot of the 1 oz. silver kangaroo bars, few of them reach the United States.
The famous marsupial and the Perth Mint's standard bar design, which features a swan, are combined in the Australian Silver Kangaroo Minted Bar.
The Perth Mint uses two dies to produce each of these new silver bars, giving the design a 3D relief. In order to prevent counterfeiting of Perth Mint products, these new bars also have.9999 pure silver content and an obverse table of radiating circles.
Bar Highlights:
- Individual bars ship in plastic flips, multiples of 10 – 15 ship in tubes, and multiples of 150 ship in boxes.
- Contains 1 Troy oz of .9999 pure silver.
- Obverse features the Perth Mint logo of the swan.
- Reverse includes the kangaroo motif in diagonal rows.
The Perth Mint logo, which is the LBMA registered mark for the mint, can be found at the top of the design field on the obverse of the 1 oz Australian Silver Kangaroo Minted Bar. It features the words "Perth Mint" above and "Australia" below the picture of the swan. On this face, you'll also see the purity, metal content, and weight of the bar.
A field of tiny kangaroo symbols leap over the face of the Australian Silver Kangaroo Minted Bar's reverse. There are no other carvings or marks on the bar, just diagonal rows of kangaroos.
The largest member of the marsupial groups in the world, kangaroos walk around on strong hind legs while being balanced by a strong tail. Kangaroos are native to Australia. The kangaroo is a logical choice for Perth Mint designs because of this.
Australia's official bullion mint is the Perth Mint. It was meant to mint gold sovereigns and half-sovereigns for the British Empire as well as purify gold from the gold rushes. The Perth Mint is the more established than the Royal Australian Mint mints issuing coins that are considered legal tender in Australia. The Royal Australian Mint creates the country's circulating coinage.
