I received a card from @summertooth.

The words on the card are very moving!

For a while there,

I forgot to expect this in the mail.



@summertooth purchase a silver round with preset lines dividing the round into 4 independent units, with each unit containing 1/4 oz of .999 fine silver.

The silver round requires a bit of hand strength to break apart.

@summertooth used his granite counter top to bend it. It seemed that he enjoyed breaking the pieces apart.



@ironshield, @trumpman, @bitcoinman,and me. That makes four fractional pieces of 1/4 troy oz each. I do know that @welshstacker wanted to have a piece, but was too late.

The shape is like... a small personal size pizza, cut 4, LOL.

Oh! I have a Silver Pizza, cut 6!

It's hand-poured silver, 5.8 troy oz,prototype. Six individual prototype pours, each unique!

Which reminds me not long ago, I received the first ever mailing from @summertooth. Check this out:

1937 was the last full year of production for Buffalo nickels. With die issues apparent since the start of the series in 1913, the United States Treasury was simply waiting for the 25-year minimum timeframe during which a coin design could not be changed, and the countdown clock was definitely winding down on that mark. The Buffalo nickel population received a certain shot in the arm in 1937, as more than 100 million Buffalo nickels were made that year – a high number indeed, but not nearly as astronomical as the 150 million-plus of 1936. ¹

I appreciated receiving this coin so much! While I don't collect coins if they aren't silver or gold, I'll collect these non-silver Buffalo Nickels coins because I they are iconic. They are so iconic of America that the mint produced the gold counterpart of this design every year since 2006. The American Buffalo, also known as the Gold Buffalo, is a 24-karat bullion issued by the United States Mint.

Isn't it wonderful! I tell you, our community is unique!
