It's time again!

Last year, I was asked to host a table for Afternoon Tea [HERE] by the organizers of our parish fundraiser.

But this time, it was for two tables since more ladies wanted to join us!

It entailed hauling my stuff from home to the parish center and back, and it was difficult because the tableware requirements of Afternoon Tea for 16 settings are so extensive.

Although it was tiring (for me) hosting the tea, I was more than happy to do it for a good cause.

For the simple Afternoon Tea I brought from home table runner, charger plates, dessert plates, teacups, saucers, small tulip stemware, demitasse teaspoons, small knives, dessert forks, teapots, tea containers, sugar containers, sugar tongs, 3 tier plates, orchids (this time because we used round tables),name placeholders, and favors.

We had

Chicken Salad Sandwiches on a croissant

Tuna Salad Sandwiches Egg Salad Sandwiches Cucumber & Cream Cheese Crostini Caprese Salad Skewers Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches (for the kids) Lettuce Cups Scones Cream Puffs Pound Cake Madelines Assorted Cheesecake Bite Assorted Cookies Fresh Strawberries

We had an ample teabag sachet assortment of hand-blended, custom-crafted, fine organic teas and botanicals with good, steeping hot water all throughout the event.

I treated everyone at our table to mimosas. The ladies just love the mimosas! There was lots of conversation going on, and laughter, especially during the raffle.

It was a crowd! The ladies enjoyed themselves and had fun!

As always (lol), my tables were specially mentioned in the event... the best-dressed tables!
