My sis showed a Japanese coin in her latest article. I wanted to show her this one, which I have had for two or three years. This was minted 1899, a Japanese 20 Sen. The figure of the Dragon holding a pearl is why I bought the coin.
Ain't it pretty?
Yesterday, I received a package for Captain Joshua Slane! Look at his penmanship. Isn't it prefect?
I commented in his article, and voila, I won! Check

I had a difficult time taking photos of this coin. It was so shiny and proof-like. It happens to a copy of my favorite coin, the Buffalo nickel, on both sides.
Minted by Golden State Mint, it is 1/4 toy oz, .999 fine silver. What a beauty! Did you know that during the years prior to 1986, silversmith patterned their silver after famous American coins?
Thank you @joshuaslane for this wonderful prize-winning. I love it.
