A unique Nevada City mint silver ingot 412 grains. Nevada City Mint started manufacturing ingots in the mid 1970s. They were bought out in 2003. They used to manufacture ingots for companies. This particular ingot is stamped Visalia since 1870. Which I believe is a small down in California. The town was active during the famous California gold rush. Usually there is a serial number stamped in the blank space on the reverse. For some reason this one does not..
