Afternoon everyone….

I had lots of materials to pick up today from three different suppliers. Which meant throughout the day I traveled roughly one hundred and sixty miles getting them.

I chose today because it was supposed to be nice out. Well after picking up over $2,000 of furniture grade plywood and nearly half way honest Mother Nature decided to piss on me.

Yeah it seems to be my life right now. The top two sheets took on a fair amount of water. They are currently standing up against my table saw outfeed table drying out.

I still had two more stops and just as I got to the second supplier it actually stopped. My normal desk guy Rich was out to lunch when I got there. The guy working the desk was obviously new and was having issues with all of the orders prior to me reaching the desk after waiting fifteen minutes. When I finally got to the desk and told him my business name and that I had an order called in for pick up. He walked to an accordion folder and started looking for it. I told him that it was most likely on Rich’s desk. He told me “No all call in orders are in here”.

WELL….

After ten minutes of him not finding it and making me wait. Rich walked in thankfully. Saw me and went to his desk and grabbed the order paperwork and handed it to me…..🤦🏻

Yes this was my day….

On a different note:

Today’s round also has a killer design, no pun intended. The round features a skull holding two handguns with the inscription “Dulce Periculum”.

The MacAulay clan motto is "Dulce periculum" (Danger is sweet) and the clan crest features a spurred boot. Spurs were once an object denoting chivalric rank, so the inclusion of the spur might represent a high-ranking horsemen.

So check out this awesome round…

The detail that they get on these pieces is just tremendous. Just look at all of the crevices and shadows in the round. Just spectacular.
