Afternoon everyone.....
I know I’ve kinda made you wonder what the hell I'm asking about....
Today I got a phone call from one of my buddies who lives in Lake Tahoe. We grew up together and we both collected coins in our early years.
We parted ways after high school, I went to Colorado University for football and he went to Yale for engineering. His dad is an alumni and was still involved with the university in some sort.
I ended up getting injured and lost my scholarship and came back home. He graduated with a double major of electrical and structural engineering.
We have always kept in touch, but with him being so far away we haven’t physically seen each other very often. Plus he the head project manager for a huge engineering company and is out of the country on projects most of the time.
With COVID, he hasn’t traveled very much but some how is still running projects.
Enough with the background on this call.
We both still collect coins and stack, and we both do crypto as well.
That’s about the end of the similarities.....
His available investment income dwarfs mine and his knowledge of cryptos is far greater then mine. While I am by no means complaining, I have successfully had my own business as a cabinet furniture maker for nearly 30 years now and provided for my family. He is still single no family and makes crazy money.
We talked about my dad for the first half of the conversation. He is going to fly back for my dads memorial service when we have it in the spring.
The other half was about cryptos and precious metals. While I lean more towards to the precious metals side but have crypto as well. He has quite a collection of both which by far surpasses my capabilities.
While size of investments isn’t what was the discussion. Which is the better long term investment was.
Crypto or Metals?
So I’m going to give you several choices on this topic. Which one do you choose or do you have a different choice?
A.) You are a stacker/collector of precious metals and don’t believe in crypto or trust it.
B.) You are a stacker/collector of precious metals and dabble in crypto but don’t trust it.
C.) You are a stacker/collector of precious metals and use crypto gains to buy more precious metals.
D.) You are into crypto and don’t believe in precious metals.
E.) You are into crypto and dabble in precious metals. Using precious metal spikes in price to buy more crypto.
