Afternoon everyone ….
I know that I’m a day late on this, but I try to write my posts at night because my days are to hectic to stop and write a proper post.
Yesterday was Valentine’s Day….
My girlfriend’s step father is still in the hospital after his heart surgery on Tuesday. Everything went well and he’s doing well. The leaking valve has been fixed and there were no blockages, so that’s good. We all went to visit him yesterday afternoon. He is already on a physical therapy program of walking for 7 minutes continuously twice a day, and he is doing breathing exercises every hour. The surgeon told him that he was progressing well and might be released on Sunday after he comes and sees him again.
That’s all good news.
So we didn’t have a normal Valentine’s Day. But I did spend the day and most of the night with her. I brought her roses and candy as per the norm. But I also brought her a Valentines Day silver round. I’ve been doing this now for a few years. Every holiday or celebration I’ve been incorporating silver into a gift.
This years Valentines Day gift was a colorized silver round produced by the Scottsdale Mint. You all know by now that I’m not a big fan of colorized rounds or coins. But they did a real nice job on it, and it’s not going in my stack. So it doesn’t matter if I like it.
Here is the silver round that I gave her…
