Yeah oil prices climbing always affects metal prices. The big boys take the money out of metals and put it in oil. One commodity for another.
If you’ve never done any refining it’s not easy. I’ve never personally done it, the chemicals to do it aren’t cheap and if you don’t follow the exact process you have to start all over from the beginning. Plus palladium isn’t high enough anymore for me to even want to do it. Palladium was nearly 2K not very long ago. Once Russia invade the Ukraine prices plummeted because 90% of palladium comes from Russia. So they all shifted back to platinum which is very similar. That’s why platinum prices jumped.
