Afternoon everyone…
This week I am participating in the Three Tune Tuesday. Why? One is because I went to a concert on Saturday at the PNC Art Center. The show was Staind as the opening act with Godsmack as the headliner. Two very good bands.
I had never seen Staind live before, and I have to say Aaron Lewis has a great live voice. I actually prefer his live voice over his recorded voice. He has a very strong voice without any straining. Not only that but his voice has a great depth to it. The music was very tight and very clear.
The headliner Godsmack was great as always. I have seen them before but it’s been a while. The very first time I saw them was when they were an opener for Metallica at the Atlantic City Convention Center.
Sully and the crew did not disappoint in any way. A true rock solid performance. It is also Godsmack’s 25th year a band.
Obviously the two bands that just saw are part of my three tunes Tuesday. So here is Staind.
My second is one of my favorites from Godsmack “I Stand Alone”. What a badass song.
Now my final entry is one of the all time greatest metal bands of ALL TIME Metallica. There are so many great songs but I’ve chosen “One” as my jamb today.
