Afternoon everyone….
I have been working like an animal. Trying to wrap up all my jobs, prior to leaving for Vegas on Thursday.
So it’s #sublimesunday, and I’ll be all over the place with this one….
The weather here has no been very cooperative though. Tuesday was a complete downpour all day. Of course it was a day that I was on a job site cutting molding and wall panels. Luckily the homeowners were very nice and pulled their vehicles out of the garage giving me room to work in a dry place.
Wednesday & Thursday were run around days. I finally had material that I’ve been waiting weeks for arrive. So there were several trips to several supply houses. Did a bunch of shop work in between for the dentist office job that I’m currently finishing up to start my install on Monday.
Thursday night around 7:00pm we started to get an ice storm that lasted till midday on Friday. I’ve never seen anything like this one before. The ice was a solid two inches thick. When the plows came down the street trying to clear the road it sounded like hundreds of dishes being smashed on the road. You could see large pieces flying all over in front of the plow. It was insane.
Needless to say it wasn’t easy to clean up. In order to clear the stairs I had to use a twenty pound sledgehammer that I have. I was hammering with it, I held the handle vertically and hit down on the ice. It took many hits to crack it. My snow shovel was useless on it, so I grabbed a flat blade digging shovel to get it up. It took me three hours to do the stairs, walkway and half the driveway.
I just got back from picking up my final payment for the job I mentioned above (the walll panel & molding job). The painters are already done and it looks great in my opinion.

As I mentioned in the title, THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN…. If you haven’t heard the #silvergoldstackers are doing a meet up in Las Vegas next week. It’s gonna be totally badass for sure.
