Afternoon everyone …
Today I’m going to share the latest release from the Zombucks series. This series is a take on world bullion coins.
Popular conceptions of a zombie apocalypse can vary, but there are some common themes that tend to emerge. One of the common themes of a zombie apocalypse is the rapid spread of the virus, seemingly impacting everything and everyone on the planet quickly.
4th image in the Zombucks World Series!
Contains 1 Troy oz of .999 pure silver.
Comes with an apocalyptic value of 75 Zombucks.
The obverse features a hawksbill turtle infected by the virus.
On the reverse is the biohazard symbol for the series.
Any zombie apocalypse is likely to play out the same way any threatening outbreak would. It all starts with a virus or infectious agent of some form. The origins can vary and may happen through various means, such as a mutated virus, an experimental drug, or even a supernatural occurrence. Once the virus is on a roll, it is likely to reach not just those on the ground, but animals and ecosystems from the air to the sea.
The obverse of the Zombucks World Mortuga Silver Rounds features a well-known hawksbill turtle. With the virus spreading to the seas, this turtle swims through the ocean waters as its shell and flesh decay around it. You’ll notice the small chunks of its skin and shell have even fallen off as it swims.
On the reverse of 1 oz Mortuga Silver Rounds is the common design for the series. Here, the biohazard symbol is shown in the foreground with small spores of the virus floating around in the background. The identifying hallmarks are found on this side of the round.
Now the round….
This one is my favorite of the series so far.
