Evening everyone……
Today is that day….. the day all the little kids dress up and walk the streets for candy and other treats. It’s a beautiful fall day here, it got up to the low seventies during the day, the low by nine is only supposed to be mid fifties which is very comfortable for the kids to have a great night.
Last year we didn’t get one tricker treater. Yep, not one! I don’t know why, our light was on and we are in a good neighborhood.
When I was a kid my neighborhood was packed with groups of kids trick or treating. You had to have multiple bags of candy to make through the night. There was one house around the block from me that the father worked for Sony Studios and they handed out really cool bags to each kid. It had movie stickers, glow sticks, full sized candy bars amongst other things.
What I truly don’t understand is how we got not one kid last year when there are five small children practically right across the street. People I’m friendly with and have helped with things over the years. Oh well their loss my mom is very generous with giving out….🎃
My girlfriend is all in on Halloween, but the two dogs want no part of it and have gone downstairs to sit with her stepdad.
