I’ve been talking pretty much all shop lately. I know that I mentioned A few weeks back my girlfriend getting a second dog. I did quick post on it.
Stormi has really made herself at home. Peanut was a little reserved the first couple of days. It’s been a month now and they are so good together. To use a Forrest Gump quote, “They are like peas and carrots”.
That had me thinking about this piece of hand poured silver. It’s not a breed I’d ever own but it’s cool, and it’s a dog. After the silver pictures are pictures of Stormi and Peanut.
There was a period in time a while back where my stack was nearly half poured silver. That might not sound very impressive, unless you realize the magnitude of it.
I’m going to guess and say it was roughly around 2017 is what I’m thinking. I was very active on YouTube within the silver pouring community. There were many live chats with live pours and great banter back and forth.
I was buying and trading generic silver for hand poured pieces from numerous pourers. So much so that I had accumulated nearly 500 ounces of poured silver. I have sold off some pieces that no longer fit my goals or no longer wanted. But most especially ones from my favorite pourers are still with me.
