Afternoon everyone …

I made a special trip back to my private security place just for davedickeyyall@davedickeyyall. He commented on one of my posts asking if I had kilo bars. So I made a trip just to show him some.

I’m not a big fan of kilo bars. They are always different sizes from each other. They are much harder to sell, and the premium on them is typically worse than a ten ounce bar.

I do have a few, but most are vintage bars that have collectors value

I’m sharing a pair of kilo bars from Republic Metal Corporation. They are no longer in business.

Here is some info on them….

Headquartered in Miami, Florida, Republic Metals Corporation was a renowned private American mint; making some of the most sought after silver bullion and gold bullion. It was established in 1980 by Richard Rubin, and has grown to become one of the largest precious metals refineries in the world. The immense popularity of precious metals bars, coins, and rounds, led to the creation of many private mints like the Republic Metals Corporation in the United States.

Interestingly, the Republic Metals Corporation was the first US refinery to receive the prestigious ISO-14001 certification.

Prior to its recent bankruptcy, Republic Metals was known for using a proprietary green technology that gives higher metal returns and faster settlement times. In fact, it was the first gold refiner in the United States to receive a Green Refining Technology certification. Moreover, the company also received the ISO-14001:2015 certification in 2015 for propagating and applying environmentally responsible practices.

Now for the bars….

There you go davedickeyyall@davedickeyyall
