Afternoon everyone ….
Tomorrow is my birthday. That’s where the 510 in silverd510 comes from. Due to conflicts with a new job starting and my shop build we are unable to celebrate my birthday tomorrow.
So we made plans to celebrate it Wednesday night. I had a free room at the casino, so we booked it for last night into today. She made reservations at this really nice restaurant near the casino. It was called “The Waters Edge”. It’s a really nice place and the food was fantastic.
I did take a picture of the place, but failed to photograph the food. Oops
We both started with a Caesar salad, which was made 100% from scratch. Very good. Jenn had a wagyu beef flat iron steak over a bed of sautéed broccoli rabe. I had a prime center cut New York strip steak, with garlic mashed potatoes. Both were fantastic. We shared a creme brûlée for dessert.
Then headed back to the casino for a little fun.
The tables weren’t treating me very good, so I ended up playing a slot machine called “Stinking Rich”.
Well….
I ended up making it all back. I hit a bunch of bonuses and cleaned up a little
On the way there I spotted this place on the other side of the highway. So we stopped to take a picture on the way home.
I am currently in the car heading home as I type this post.
