Afternoon everyone….
I’ve been so in the zone working in the shop getting this job done before Thursday’s install. I finished assembling all of the cabinets late last night. I cut all the shelves, drawer boxes, and all the styles for the doors this morning. I’m currently cutting up the pieces for the inset panels for the doors now. So that I can get them all glued up before I call it a night.
I’m further along then I thought I’d be, which is great because I need to head out shortly to attend my girlfriend’s uncles birthday dinner. It’s being held at an excellent Chinese restaurant in Denville named Hunan Taste. It my 1 or 1A of Chinese food in New Jersey. I’ll probably post about it tomorrow if I remember to take any pictures.
So I’ll share with you a round that I had ordered a while back now. It was part of my last order from the Intaglio Mint. I truly love their designs and they produce such a quality product. It is hard to match the standards that they hold themselves to as a mint.
The round depicts two sides of a human figure. Half is a living human the other half is a Skelton version of the human. It is split in half by a serpentine sword which is totally cool.
The round is inscribed with the phrase “Fiat Justitia Ruat Caelum”. This translates to “Let Justice be done though the heavens fall.”
It signifies the belief that justice must be realized regardless of consequences. Or the ancient metaphor the sky is falling.
I know let’s see the round….
If you don’t own anything from the Intaglio Mint. You should really take a look at their website and grab a round or four…..🤣 It’s hard not to buy once you start looking.
