Afternoon everyone…….
If it’s not one thing it’s another. So we’ve had a code red air quality warning yesterday, due to the wildfires in Canada. Which the current storm that is coming, has pushed the wildfire smog away for now.
It’s been pouring on and off here since roughly ten in the morning. The entire thing started off pretty crazy. We had almost half an hour of non stop thunder, the rolling thunder constant noise kind. No rain during this whole part. The noise ended, then within five minutes time, the clouds unloaded with a vengeance.
It rained super hard for just very half an hour. You couldn’t see three feet it was so hard. Glad I was home and not on the road during that. The whole event ended abruptly.
We’ve had several thunderstorms since that first event. None have been as crazy so far…..
BUT….
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for our area through nine this evening. WTF???? I live in a very mountainous area. This is crazy!!!!
This weather is getting ridiculous everywhere now. There has never been a tornado touchdown within twenty miles of me ever! I looked it up.
I’m really hoping it stays that way. It would be extremely devastating to this area with all the trees.
On a different note…..
Here is a nice piece of the shiny stuff. It’s a five ounce Silvertowne Mint Buffalo bar. It’s still sealed in the original mint packaging. It’s funny how back in the day I was buying four to ten at a time on these……
