Afternoon everyone ….
If you’ve been following my posts, then you know that last week I was on vacation or holiday as some of you would say. Upon my return included in my pile of mail picked up at the post office was a package. I was not expecting anything, and purposely had not ordered anything to arrive. The package was upside down in my pile, but once flipped over I knew it had to be something good.

I have know Silversaver for many years now. While we have shared the journey here on Hive and Steemit before hand, prior to that the silver community on YouTube was strong and thriving. Silversaver has her own YouTube channel, and would frequent live chats of the silver community.
While I didn’t have direct contact with her during those days on YouTube, I did watch her videos and interact during chats.
As many of you know she is a very generous person. Years back I was gifted a channel bar by her which at the time was handpoured by Mrs. Vulcan. I was honored to receive it as a gift, which is the only way to acquire one. Thank you Saver. I was going to include a picture of that bar in this post but I could not locate the box it was in.
Over the years we have surprised each other with gifts here and there. I have been lucky to have been on the receiving end of her secret Santa gifts as well. Anyone that has gotten one from her can attest to that. She goes the extra mile to brighten your holiday.
While I have never met her in person, I’m quite sure that she is the same live as she is through her posts. I consider her a good friend and fellow stacker and hopefully our paths will cross in the future. Maybe she will find the time to meet us out in Las Vegas next year.
