I have not posted here in a while. Hope you are doing well. I promised to post my painting as soon as I finish it. In my previous post I posted one step of the process. During all the time I was wondering how I could express my thoughts through my imagination. If I have to be honest it was hard to create the space. There were objects which had to be closer or far in space. This was one of the most important challenges for me. From the horizon covered with clouds to the sea wave before it crashes. Also I passed through some steps of creating the hair which surrounded the planet. First I made the planet too close so that you could see the planet coming out from her head. Then I decided to make it smaller on the horizon, but the feeling was not the same. It had to be more impressive. because my hero was not just a woman, but a goddess born from Venus. She has to manage the planet. So I needed to make more changes by making the planet behind the goddess's head like a halo. Then I painted the hair the way I imagined it. It was interesting for me to explore many ways of creating the space and every time it was with totally different meaning. This time it took me about 45 hours to make the artwork. Also this was my third time I paint a sea, this time an orange sea. Hope you will enjoy it. I think this face is beautiful and suitable to be used for this painting. What do you think?
