Este poema nace del dolor y la incertidumbre generada por el terremoto ocurrido el día 24 de junio y que hundió a muchas familias venezolanas en un profundo dolor.

Movimientos

Hay movimientos que nos acercan,
tocan el alma,
reclaman besos.
Hay otros que queman las palabras,
detienen la respiración,
el grito corta la noche,
todo cae
la tierra respira,
el miedo huele.

La mirada se hunde en los escombros
instante eterno para el dolor.
Hay movimientos que nos hacen llorar,
escupen bloques
cierran sueños
abren pesadillas.
Hay movimientos que detienen la vida,
la incertidumbre galopa
la tierra abraza.

This poem was born out of the pain and uncertainty caused by the earthquake that struck on June 24 and plunged many Venezuelan families into deep sorrow.

Movements

There are movements that bring us closer,
touch the soul,
demand kisses.
There are others that burn words,
stop our breath,
the scream cuts through the night,
everything falls,
the earth breathes,
fear has a smell.

The gaze sinks into the rubble—
an eternal moment of pain.
There are movements that make us cry,
spit out blocks,
shut down dreams,
unleash nightmares.
There are movements that bring life to a halt,
uncertainty gallops,
the earth embraces.
