this is my entry for Thursdays #macrophotography contest by @juliank. These weeks image shows a little guy, that was actually a quite big one. The biggest ever for me. I saw a smaller on last year. Just the body was approximately the size of an unsmoked standard cigarette. I couldn't find any name or image of that creature. But I guess he belongs to the species of bush-crickets. So if anybody knows anything, please let me know. If it is an never ever found species, he could get named Tettigonia Silbarta Monstrosa lol. But it will become very hard to find him again for proof. I took the image in summer this year somewhere on a hill 100 km west of Ulaanbaatar // Mongolia. My camera battery was almost empty and when I returned with a fresh one, my little friend was gone.
dies ist mein Beitrag zum Wettbewerb #macrophotography an diesem Donnerstag von @juliank . Heute gibt es die Aufnahme eines kleinen Wesens, welches in Wirklichkeit ziemlich gross war. Ungefähr die grösse einer Standart Zigarette. Ich habe leider keine Bezeichnung gefunden, nehme aber an das er zur Gattung der Heuschrecken gehört. Falls jemand genaueres weiss, würde es mich sehr interessieren. Für den Fall, das der Kleine noch keinen Namen hat, hätte ich den folgenden Vorschlag : Tettigonia Silbarta Monstrosa hehe. Die Aufnahme ist vom Sommer diesen Jahres irgendwo 100 km westlich von der mongolischen Hauptstadt, Ulaanbaatar. Mein Kamera Akku war alle und als ich mit einem vollen zurückkehrte, war er schon wieder verschwunden. Jahres.
