Just started browsing through the #AskHive community.
As you pointed out, the #3 is so crucial. Asking yes/no questions is no fun. It leads to a dead-end. And people can't think when they hit dead-end. As usual, the community needs to come up with a better set of questions that ignites conversations and debates. It must open up a whole new world.
As someone using Reddit for almost a decade (and I remember you were amazingly active there), I remember coming up with a simple formula to ask better questions. Maybe this is something everyone can use. Definitely applicable on AskHive.
If anyone is interested, it generally boils down to "what" - "why" - "if" - and "how" questions.
Examples:
- What is your fav childhood memories that makes you laugh?
- What is the best programming language to learn?
- Why do we work all our lives?
- Why do stars glow at night?
- If you had 1 million in bitcoin, what would you do?
- If your girlfriend liked your best friend, what will you do?
- How do I start learning programming?
- How is acidyo so smart?
The last one, of course, will create a massive debate. :P
