Hello hive gamers!
After the last post I made where I played some Pokemon Unite, I started searching for ways to get better at the game. I looked up different tactics and tips. At the same time, I also searched for how to configure boost emblems and held items properly depending on the Pokemon I'm using. In the past, I always neglected these because I didn't think they did much. Unfortunately, I was wrong. These things are game changing if they are used properly.
At first, I was seeing the results of my research. At a point, I managed to achieve a 5-win streak which is something that is pretty rare for me to get. But for some reason, the game decided to be rude the next day and I somehow ended up with a 10-loss streak. I guess I used up all my luck in the previous day 😂.
Here is some gameplay of one of the wins I was fortunate to get:

This time, I will be playing as my main Pokemon: Charizard. Charizard in the game is an all-rounder and does basic attack damage. So I created an emblem set that is aimed at dealing more damage which I will be using. For the held items, I'll be using the muscle band (boosts attack speed and damage), razor claw (increases attack and critical hit rate), and focus band (increases defense and special defense).
Starting off at the bottom lane was a bit rough. One of the opponents who was an Alolan Vulpix managed to evolve early. Followed by the opponent's Rowlet. This put my teammate and I in a dangerous position.
After a while, out team's jungler came to help but was taken out in a 3 vs 1 scenario. At the end, the enemy was able to take out my teammate and I and scored the first few points in our goal zone in the bottom lane.
I found a low health Dartrix so I took advantage of that to say hello. The opposing Raboot didn't like that so I got chased all the way back to my goal zone.
I noticed Espeon on my team trying to take out Registeel in the bottom path. Doing this will boost my team's attack and special attack for some time. I also noticed that the opposing Raboot had the same idea in mind. I used this opportunity to return the favor for chasing me earlier.
Eventually, we left Registeel for a while and went to destroy the opponent's goal zone since no one was guarding it.
Shortly after taking Registeel out, my teammate and I got ambushed by Decidueye and Cinderace. Both of them used their unite moves on us. I was also able to use my unite move too, but Cinderace was lucky enough to survive which led to the downfall of our first goal zone on the bottom lane.
Some time later, I got so carried away with farming for exp that I didn't notice that Scyther and Greninja had both arrived to score some goals. This lead to them scoring 90 points, which is a lot.
Luckily, my teammates and I were able to catch the intruders and defeat them. However, we weren't able to compensate because my favorite duo: Cinderace and Decidueye were guarding their goal zone.
In the final stretch of the match (the last 2 minutes), Cinderace got through and scored 100 points while my teammates were battling Rayquaza. I also started having a bit of internet issues but my team was fortunate enough to defeat Rayquaza. This granted us a shield and a faster goal-scoring speed. It was now our chance to shatter the enemy's goal zones with goals. On top of that, goals are worth double points in the final stretch.
I realized that the enemy Scyther also tried to retaliate by scoring 100 points. But luckily, my team's Slowbro was there to defend.
This was the final score of the match. I managed to score quite a lot of points considering that I score about 80 points on average.
Also, the score gap wasn't actually as wide as I thought. If Scyther managed to score a goal that time, my team would have lost.
This is the record of damage dealt, received and recovered. I would say I did a decent amount of damage, but I took more damage and somehow managed to recover from a lot. I have no idea how.
