I just happened to come across this post because I typically monitor the #comics hashtag for artists posting OC comic material.

First thing I would recommend is getting yourself a profile photo and work on an "Introduce Yourself" post to let folks know about yourself and your interests. This will help the miscellaneous sub-communities find you and your content.
