The Real Superheroines of Hive Valley
I think it is pretty clear... Jake will not be winning that pool.
I really struggled with the placement of the figures on this page. Based on the previous page, Bloody Mary is flinging Miss Fury from a face-fronting position holding both her wrists. So I was trying to figure out, how best to throw someone from that position. I was originally going to go with a double-uppercut movement and throw her straight up. Also, had a reverse angle at one point from the Sky-Cam. If you watch the time lapse of me working on this panel, you can see all the times I scrapped it and started over. Actually, that's not true, I think I tried a couple other poses but just scrapped the illustration entirely and started over again.
