I am currently living in the tiny town of Ocean Park, Washington with my lovely traveling companion, Cheri.
We started playing Pickleball with the locals here, and attended a meeting of the local pickleball club. As it turns out, they were in the process of applying for some grant money to patch, resurface and re-paint the pickleball courts in our neighborhood. Since Cheri is the communicator and networker, she talked to the woman in charge of the grant and commissioned us a possible job. As part of the court renovation, we proposed that the "practice wall" or backboard on the court be re-painted with a mural. This is just a digital mock-up that we sent along with an itemized list of our proposed materials and labor costs.
So the practice wall, you've probably seen them on tennis courts, is just a wall that you hit against when you don't have an opponent to play against. Who says it can't be pretty?
So, hopefully, that will be a job for us in the near future. Wish us luck.
