I like how Mary is so indignant about being called a cheater. In her defense, she didn't willfully cheat, she's just kind of dumb. Also, I could really go for some nachos right now.
There are certain cosmic laws regarding the granting of wishes. Like wishing for more wishes is a big no-no. In addition, un-wishing something can't be done in order to get reimbursed for a wish. So, in other words, the rule of "No take-backsies" might actually have some axiomatic significance in this situation. I think that's the Wisdom of Solomon protecting Mary from getting bitch-slapped by a Polynesian goddess.
You'll have to wait until next panel to see if this plays out in our super heroine's favor. But before you see the next panel, there is a Java Jaguar day tomorrow!
