Every once in a while I get the urge to run. So instead of lacing up my shoes and getting sweaty, I just draw someone running.
Meet Jesse Quick from DC Comics. Daughter of Johnny Quick and Liberty Belle from the Golden Age, she was a member of The Justice Society of America. Her father discovered the "Speed Formula" that gave her superspeed. She somehow lost that power later but became super strong and invulnerable like her mom, and became the new Liberty Belle. The last time I saw her in the comics she regained her speed so she had super strength, super speed, and invulnerability, which made her 'almost as good as a Kryptonian.'
