Tracking the assassin along a beach, I navigated technical hitches, stuttering frame rates, and game freezes. After collecting loot from glitched crates and diving into the water, I found the assassin frozen inside a banana tree. Losing my direction, I opened the map, backtracked, and reloaded an auto-save.
After the leap of faith, I was about to run ahead to get to the assassin but I paused to admire the detailed fresh coconuts scattered on the ground. So, the game developers even didn't forget about such little details in the resynced.
Spotting fresh bloodstains leading away from the water, I confirmed I was on the right path to track down the assassin. The surrounding coast looked inhabited, filled with scavenged shipwreck supplies, clotheslines, and wooden crates overlooking the open ocean.
From there, I found this fantastic view that shows the open ocean and I just had to stop there to capture a photo.
Glancing through the trees, I caught a brief glimpse of the fleeing target and sprinted to close the gap.
As I drew near, the game suffered a severe freeze, locking the screen in place while shaders compiled in the background.
After a brief pause, the gameplay unfroze, only to lock up a second time while keeping the target highlighted on my Focus. Attempting to climb a high ledge to cut off the assassin's escape, another stutter forced me onto a nearby crate instead.
When I was trying to open the box, I noticed a floating lamp and flickering textures, that highlighted the unstable state of the cracked game build. So, the game developers really did great but it has a lot of bugs still.
Losing visual contact with the assassin, I executed a leap of faith off the cliff into the swamp water below. Emerging from the water onto the shore, I spotted the assassin standing still nearby, but the game froze once again.
When the frame resumed, the target's character model had glitched entirely, leaving him wedged inside the trunk of a banana tree.
Realizing the physical target was unresponsive, I pushed past the glitch, leaving the broken model behind in hopes of finding the real objective further down the path.
The performance issues continued to worsen, freezing me mid-air during jumps. Opening the world map to check my location, I realized I had drifted off course and was running in the opposite direction without any objective markers guiding the way.
I turned back toward the original coastal area, but upon arriving, no cinematic triggered and the assassin was nowhere to be found.
Confused by the broken quest script, I paused the game to reload an auto-save checkpoint, hoping a fresh load would clear the glitches and restore progress.
