Introduction Post...We love crypto-currency!

Hi Steemit! Starting a new crypto-currency project with our IB Economics class at Springstead High School!

This account will be the class account for our project. We will be posting class projects about different economic concepts in the areas of microeconomics, macroeconomics, development economics, and international economics. We are using Steemit to study Bitcoin and other altcoins, further analyzing the use of crypto-currency on international markets.

The ultimate goal is for our class to earn Steem to invest in Bitcoin and then further invest in different altcoins based on market trends. My name is Brandon Wright; I am the teacher of the class and moderator of the course page. As the 2017 Hernando County Teacher of the Year and recipient of the Governor's Shine Award for Excellence in Education, I look for every opportunity to use authentic learning experiences to help drive student learning. This project evolved from a class discussion about recent news regarding the skyrocketing value of Bitcoin. What better way to understand why this happens then to dive into the community and explore it first hand?! We look forward to the support of the Steemit community as we begin our journey into this growing medium of exchange!
