Hey Book Lovers!
Today I would like to talk about one of my favourite books, it's name is Twilight. Romantic genres are always my thing. When it's about romance with vampires, I am totally down. So, here’s the thing, I don’t think Twilight will always be inside my mind, maybe 5 years ago I read it and still today I can imagine those little moments. No matter how many years pass or how many other vampire stories come. This saga just won’t leave me alone. I first started it when I was maybe thirteen or fourteen. This was the time when I remember I used to hide under my blanket with a trouched light. Reading about Bella Swan moving to gloomy Forks, Washington.... Oh man the gloomy environment still hunts me.
I didn’t even know where Forks was. But inside my mind, it felt like the quietest place on earth, as an introvert a perfect place to live in. Perfect for vampires and secrets.
Some people laugh about Twilight. They say it’s cringey and dramatic. Maybe it is. But honestly, I don’t care. There’s something about that rain, those forests. It all made teenage dreams in his imagination. Fun fact is, it still does, a little. So today, I want to tell you why Twilight is still holding a corner of my heart. And maybe, just maybe, I’m not alone.
Story Summary and My Review
The saga starts very simply with Bella Swan. She's a regular high school girl. She leaves sunny Arizona to live with her dad in Forks. She hates the cold, the rain, the clouds which stays for a long time, days, weeks even month. But then she sees Edward Cullen in the cafeteria. At a first glance he looked perfect, impossible to Bela. He’s part of the mysterious Cullen family. All the family members are so beautiful to be normal. Of course, they’re not normal, you know that. They’re vampires. But not the type who sleeps in coffins, they’re shiny, vegetarian vampires. Vegetarian means they drink blood from the animals not from humans. That is what we can compare them to other vampires.

Twilight is really just the story of Bella and Edward falling in love. But the other vampires show up, I am talking about the dangerous kind who drink bloods direct from humans. And Bella? Well, she smells extra tasty. So now Edward’s in this fight between loving her and wanting to keep her save and alive. I remember reading this first book so fast.
Then comes the New Moon. I was still wondering and thinking about why Edward leaves Bella to “keep her safe”. I think, it was the biggest lie ever. He breaks her heart, she's like falls into deep dark hole. This part was so sad for me seeing bela this way. Bella was empty and lost. And then, there’s Jacob. He's warm, alive and loyal. He's basically a werewolf who shows up when Bella needs a friend the most. I liked Jacob, but I was still thinking about Edward. That scene still lives in my head, the Italy part, when Bella runs through the crowd to stop Edward from stepping into the sun. I could litrelly imagine the whole scene like a movie.

Eclipse is all about the choices. Bella’s stuck between Edward and her werewolf best friend, yeah talking about Jacob. It sounds silly when I write it like this, but reading it felt like life and death. Then another thing happens which is enough to give you chills, there’s a war coming, some newborn vampires hunting Bella. It was Victoria who wanted to take her revenge. But the real fight is inside Bella’s heart. She asked her self who is she, really? Who does she want to be, Human or Vampire?

And then Breaking Dawn. The finale. According to me it's the wildest one, really. Bella finally marries Edward. They go on a honeymoon on a private island. And then..BOOM..Bella’s pregnant. With a half vampire baby. The baby grows way too fast and nearly kills her. This is where the story goes full drama. Some readers hate it. But I kinda loved the mess too. The baby's name is Renesmee. After knowing all these the Volturi came to fight. The Cullen family standing together. It truly felt like a real ending. Bella’s no longer the a human. She’s a strong, powerful, vampire. None expected her this strong.
Recommendation?
What do I really think? Stephenie Meyer didn’t write perfect literature. She wrote teenage dreams. She made rainy days feel romantic. She made that first love. It's like that “I can’t breathe without you” feeling. It feels bigger than the real world. When you’re a teenager or even an adult who wants to feel young again, that’s exactly what you want.
So, should you read the Twilight Saga now? I think so. Read it if you want to dream about cold forests. Rain drops on your window. Secrets hiding in the woods. Read it if a lot of comfort vibes.
