I read a post by 
Investing to me is making a decision to use your disposable income to replace your earned income and become free. As the amount of income you earn from your investments grows you have the choice or freedom to work less, you then have the freedom to explore other job opportunities, you have the time to build your own business or the choice to use that time to travel. I think investing is not just about getting rich, it is about earning the freedom of choice regarding where and when you work, whether you work for others or yourself, where you can live, where you send your children to school and what opportunities you can provide for your family.
Investing to me is about freedom.
