Steemit Fork to Steemit and Hive blockchains Friday March 20th
The beginning of the end, and the start of a new beginning.
The group of developers, 30 per the article Hive-announcement post have finished the initial work to fork the chain. It looks like a new chapter in the history of Steem, Steemit and cryptocurrency history.
The new blockchain is said to be an improvement over the old.

What?
A snap shot of the chain between then and now will determine how much Hive you receive in a 1:1 airdrop.
Why?
To start a new chain free of current conflict between the two portions of the community.
