I believe one of the things that makes Ethereum a great blockchain is the ability to run smart contracts on it. This ability is basically known as a “use case”. This term “use case” is often discussed at gatherings of the cryptocurrency minded. This term is frequently held out as a big measure of a blockchain’s current or future success. Basically it means is your blockchain useful for anything? It means will anyone use your blockchain for business, transactions, etc and concurrently use your blockchain currency to conduct business. So many blockchain creators and administrators encourage software developers to develop applications which run on that blockchain. These are commonly referred to as “Decentralized Applications” or “Dapps”. Now as I said many other blockchain are trying to attract software developers to their blockchain to develop these DAPP, but here at Steemit we literally have hundreds of Dapps already running on our blockchain. Steem has DAPPS or decentralized applications on the Steem blockchain**
There are 499 DAPPS on the Steem Blockchain
One of the things which makes Steem a progressive and more advanced block chain then the competition is the developer community. If you check out the “Github” of most crypto currencies your lucky if you find one developer whose actively working on the base code for the Blockchain and luckier still if you see 2-3 entries of software developer activities per month. Most of the crypto currencies have no Blockchain applications. One of the thing which makes Etherium special is it’s block chain allows developers to utilize smart contracts on the Etherium Blockchain for commerce. Steemit also has hundreds of applications created by software developers to use the Steem block chain for commerce.
If you go to the Steem Projects website you will find a listing of Steem DAPPS organized by categories! At the time I wrote this article there were 422 DAPPS or decentralized applications on the Steem Blockchain. You can verify this yourself by going to the Steem Blockchain projects website at this link👉 http://www.steemprojects.com
🙀😱😀😊👏👏

One such category is wallets. There are six wallet DAPPS on the Steem Blockchain.
Before I started blogging on Steemit I had spent six months studying other blockchains and the vast majority can only dream of having the large number of active developers and active applications on their blockchain was Steemit. The Steem block chain can be compared to the famous comic book mutants. Whereas those people are more advanced evolved humans, Steem is a more advanced evolved block chain. But an important difference is that those people or mutants are charactorized by a single mutation which is advantageous and they can only evolve once in their lifetime. Steem is a continuously evolving entity. Steem is amazing. !
