I'm happy to announce, that after being a successful crypto-artist for almost 2 years (using Ethereum), I just tokenized and sold my first tokenized artwork on the Hive blockchain.

NFT Showroom

The project, that made it possible is called @nftshowroom and it's a marketplace for rare tokenized art on the Hive chain.

Members of the Minnow Support Project and the Peace, Abundance, and Liberty Network Discord Group announce a new project that is currently in alpha on Hive!

Being an early adaptor and a long time member of the Steemit/Hive community, I was lucky enough to be accepted as one of the whitelisted artists.

We have already started testing with a small group of verified artists to evaluate the site UI and functionality. Once we are satisfied that things are working as intended we will open up admissions to the public.

Some familar names

Although the platform is really super-new, there are already a few artworks of well known artist available, like @mikkolyytinen, @yusaymon, @richardfyates and @juliakponsford to name a few.

After sending out a tweet about it, my long time artist buddy @mr-monk also joined #nftshowroom and published his first #hive #nft.

First Sale

I particularly was happy to notice, that he also bought edition one of my Hive Mind artwork. So thanks a lot to him and congratulations for that historic purchase.

There are 2/3 editions left and I slightly raise the price to reward early adopters. Current price is 125 SWAP.HIVE.

Invest in Cryptoart

NFT's are a definitely one of the best use-cases for blockchain technology and most of my cryptoart doubled or trippled it's price in a few month on the secondary market. But I also already made up to 10 times of the initial sales-price on some of my collected nft's.
