জানি অনেক দিন ধরেই ঘর থেকে বাইর হতে পারিস না,,বাইরে ঝকমকে রোদ উঠে, ঝিরিঝিরি বাতাস বহে কিন্তু তুই যে সেই আবদ্ধ তো আবদ্ধই,, আর আবদ্ধ নানা থেকেই বা উপায় বল কি তোর,,বাইরে আমি নিয়ে গেলে তো তোকে!ওই সকাল বেলা তোকে একা ঘরে রেখে যে বাইরে যাই আর রাত্রিতে ফেরা,,
আমাদের মেলা মেশা বলতে তো এই রাত টুকুই,,
আর কত খানি বা মিশি বল,,মিলিত তো হই অনেকক্ষন কিন্তু মিশতে পারি আর কোথায়,,,তোর বুকেই মাথা রেখে কত কি যে ভেবে যাই,,।টিনের চালায় রুমঝুম করে বৃষ্টি হয়,,আমি সেথায় মিশে যাই,কোথাও বড় করে বজ্রপাত হয় আমি সেথাও মিশে যাই,,

জানিস একদিন বৃষ্টিভরা পুকুরে সাঁতার কেটেছিলাম,,আমি আর নীলিমা।সে কী সাঁতার,,পাশেই দুটা হাস দুটা পদ্ম ফুলের পাশে কি জানি খেলছিল,,নীলিমা লজ্জায় চোখ বন্ধ করে ডুব দিল জলে,,আমিও ডুব দিলাম জলে,,তবে চোখ যে আমার বন্ধ ছিল না,,

চল চল তোকে একটু বারান্দায় মুক্ত বাতাসে,মুক্ত রোদের মাঝে বসিয়ে দেই,,তাহলেই বুঝবি তোর সাথেই জল মিশেয়ে আবদ্ধ হৃদয়টা কতটা তালাবদ্ধ হয়ে আছে প্রবাসের এই ঘরে,,স্বদেশ বিহীন এই প্রাসাদে,,,!
সারা দিন রেখে যাই আবদ্ধ আদরে খুব যতন করে,,, আবার ঠিক তোর মতই রাতের বেলা কেবল ফিরি তার কাছে,,,শুধু ফিরি,, তবে মিলিত হতে পারি আর কই?মিশতে আর পারি কই,, আমার হৃদয়ের সাথে,,পারি কই?
চেনা জানা শহর,সেই পুরাতন সভ্যতা,পথ ঘাট, মাট যেন অচেনা লাগে আবার অচেনা করে নিতে হয়,,,হৃদয়ের সাথে মিলিত হবার বাসরে।
নতুবা কত আর চোখের জল নিবিরে বালিশ,,আর কত নিবি তোর বুকে?
