Civilization is a great thing if you'll ask me, but then there's nothing that has advantages that would lack at least one disadvantage, just as we have people, there are bad and good people, so we can't say everyone should perish because of the bad ones, we still need people in our lives regardless.
It's good to see how great civilization has helped the world at large, in terms of so many things that we can't even mention all, talk of fashion sense, communication, technology, information, transportation, internet, just to mention but a few and then we also have so many cons of it aswell talk of lack of morals, increase in crime rate, immorality, etc.
For the sake of his post I'll be talking at length on just one point each of the pros and cons of civilization.
Civilization has helped us greatly in the aspect of information technology (IT), I just wonder how people of those days get access to information in far away places outside their immediate environment. How do they know what's going on abroad, I doubt if they know anything at all that's going on there but gradually things started getting better with civilization, from newspaper to radio, to television, to our phones and other gadgets.
Now in the comfort of our rooms we can get information on anything at all we want as far we have access to Internet, it's now very easy to get those gists, news, data and all that you need via the net.
I love technology and that's one major reason I went to the university to study computer science, I love computers, phones and other gadgets.
Technology gave birth to crypto currency, and that's what most of us are benefiting from now, hive and all other forms of crypto.
The more civilised the world is, the greater the level of information and communication technology and vice versa.
Yes some people would argue that civilization has done more harm than good, it might have caused some wrongs but I don't think the cons are more than the pros.
Is there anyone who wants to go back to the olden days, where they trek compared to this day that there are several means of transportation, talk of cars, talk of jets, train, ship etc, imagine instead of going out with good cars like Benz, Range Rover, Ferrari, Lamborghini but you chose to go back to the days when there is no car and the best you could have is a horse or donkey as a means of transportation.
Well just as I've mentioned earlier that civilization also has its cons, and I'll be talking about crime rate.
I won't say there was no crime in the olden days but at least it was not as rampant as this, now it has gotten to the extreme, different kinds of scammers everywhere, people are getting new methods everyday of scamming people of their hard earned money. This so sad, no one prays to work and end up being scammed of his sweat.
But then everything is in our hands, if there's love, crime and other bad things happening in our society won't be, some people are just very greedy and they want to have money at all cost not minding if their neighbors might get hurt in the process.
Nevertheless, I still think that the advantages of civilization is much more better than it's disadvantages.
