"Osprey Perched"

Good evening Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all tonight is these awesome perched shot's I got of the Osprey down at my local lake. What's nice on these one's is the closest shot's so far I have gotten of this amazing bird close up. Of course in my young birding career, I hope one day to get closer and closer and you know me I will always be posting more and more shot's of one of my favorite birds. In flight or perched I continue to keep getting as many as possible, as well as I hope they get better and better. This was the day of the re-opener of the trout season and this is actually happened right when I got there. Saw him flying to get his fish, and bang smacks the water way on the other side as I was walking that way. Missed it but he was not successful so what happened is he perched in the same area on top of this palm tree. As I got there I was snapping away, for about thirty minutes flew off, then perched again. As I got some more but then flew off trying to get the local fisherman's fish all over the lake, unsuccessful again as it just flew off and I didn't see it return. Must have went up to another one of the other lakes and got his fish. Who know, I just got a bunch of closer shot's but disappointed not to get a chance at the dive shot again. Patience I guess, hopefully one day I get that shot. All I know is the past few weeks they have not really been around other than this day and maybe a sighting or two but no dives. I think they are getting ready for matting season, due to the fact some other photographers saw them with branches and shrubs to make a nest.
The above shot, the cover, is my favorite one so far perched, that's why it is featured at the top. Love the color and black n white one on this shot. As for the next shot below, Another cool shot, to bad his claw was a bit in the shade but dang do you see that claw, that's some fish catch talons right there.
Cool shot here of him stretching his head out because something is peaking his interest, I really thought he was going to dive straight down, for he was looking at the water bobbing his head back and forth so many times but nope not this time, I was so ready too. If only, that dive shot....
This forth shot here was from his first perch, the early morning sun coming right at him and again you can see those talons right there, such a cool shot and a fun time down at the lake regardless of me not getting the dive. Always a great time down there all day, so many days I keep going back. Soon I will venture out to some other spots, very soon. Anyways thanks for stopping by my post today, have a blessed one, appreciate you all.
