Near my village, there is a lake located at the foot of the mountains called Paya Laot. This small lake is one of the water sources for the people living around the village, but most people living in rural areas usually have their own private wells at each of their homes, which also serve as a source of clean water. However, this lake plays a very important role, such as providing water to the surrounding rice fields and agricultural land, as well as serving as a drinking place for many animals and insects.
My main purpose in visiting this lake was to find peace, and that was also the reason why I visited it in the afternoon. The edge of this lake is also surrounded by many large trees, making it a natural place to take shelter from the scorching sunlight. In addition, we can also enjoy beautiful natural scenery here, such as views of the surrounding rice fields and the towering mountains.
This lake is not very large in size, and during the dry season a few years ago, it even dried up.Despite that, this lake is quite deep, so swimming here is not the best choice.
This is not a tourist destination, but a place like this is always interesting to visit because it has a very peaceful atmosphere, far away from the noise of vehicles, and is relatively quiet, making it a perfect place to relax while enjoying everything related to nature.
At that time, I chose to walk around the lake first while looking for the best spot to sit and relax. Oh yes, before coming to this place, I first bought some supplies, such as a cup of coffee and some biscuits. I really wanted to spend this afternoon doing something truly enjoyable.
In the end, I finally found a spot that was perfect for sitting and relaxing. There was a fairly large tree there, so I also had natural shade to shelter under. After parking my motorcycle, I immediately took out all of my supplies and started enjoying them.
There, I also met several people who were fishing. This lake is home to several types of fish, such as snakehead fish, catfish, tilapia, and several other freshwater fish, and this is one of the reasons why this lake is also very popular among anglers.
The gentle breeze and cool air continued to touch my body, creating a truly peaceful atmosphere. Next to this lake, there is also a very large rice field area. Since it is currently the rice planting season, I was able to meet many farmers there. In my personal opinion, life in the countryside is very different from life in the city. Village life is generally quieter and closer to nature, while city life is usually more dynamic and offers easier access to various facilities and opportunities. Each has its own advantages, depending on a person's needs and preferences.
I spent approximately two hours at this place, and everything went according to my expectations,and I felt very satisfied with the experience.After everything was finished, I immediately made my way home.
