"Northern Cardinal"

Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are these new shots of a new species I captured while I was on the east coast on that long vacation. What I have here is the Northern Cardinal and it sure is a pretty awesome looking bird, as we all know the red is so nice, as well as the black. I have many more to show you once I get to editing more stuff from the trip too, like the female, she is more grey with red and orange looking, as well as the immatures, they got some crazy black, grey and red colors as they start turning red, so I cant wait to get to those but it will be awhile, for I am really backed up on editing. Lets get into these shots now, the cover shot, the one above should go nicely here and the reason why is it was just after the rain, so the tips of pine tree has some cool water droplets on them, a bit hard to tell but it the white parts are water and it makes a cool scene here in my opinion. This one here I was shooting from about forty yards away with my telephoto lens but I managed to get a decent shot here. When I do get to the others, their will be some closer shots with much more detail as well. In this second shot here, the one below this writing is of a different one, morning sunlight giving it a much more orange type of red and I like this one as well but don't car for the shadow on it, regardless it will go nicely on this post for now. This was actually cool because I saw a group of Cedar Waxing fly in this tree and was eating the berries, then this Northern Cardinal came in to eat some too but those picture's will come later for sure. It like getting double the pleasure here, getting one type of bird then getting a freebie as another species flies in.
In this last shot here, this is the same scend and bird from the cover shot but I focused not only getting a close up shot of birds on this trip but trying to get more of a scenario and scene too. This one is pretty cool and you can see more of the water droplets in this scene. Well hope you all enjoyed these and this post, thank you for stopping by my blog and post of the day, have a blessed one.
