Good evening Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all tonight is some more shot's I took of the Blue Angels in practice in El Centro California last week. As we continue through the shot's and again yes all these shot's are in order of how I shot them. One thing I realize after and going through the pictures, is everything changes from picture to picture. What I mean by that, is you have the Sun, the sky in so many different blue's as well as the ever changing clouds on this day, as well as atmosphere and air quality from the Blue Angels smoke trails. The smoke as well as all the other things I mentioned make for cool shot's of reflections on the planes to not so detailed etc. Not to mention I am at the disadvantage of still shooting with a DSLR that only has 18 megapixels but I do feel like as we go through all these I do have good and okay shot's here and I am okay with that. This is my first time and I am still learning all that I can while shooting on scene. With that said hope you all enjoy them and enjoy my process as much as I do, I will definitely keep doing aviation photography as much as I can in the future and hopefully one day I get the new camera and lens, since using old equipment I will adapt and be a better photographer after going through the struggles of the DSLR. Regardless for me its all about the adventure, I really enjoy doing this and what I do is make photography the second prize, for I wont be disappointed on what I did and didn't get.
Now let's get into these shot's, the cover shot above for me in this group of shot's is for sure my favorite one. I really like the way the sun made these jets paint reflection look pretty cool, not really big fan of the hazy day but I did what I could do with my surroundings. Another thing is a couple of these jets kept messing up with their smoke, or maybe the lead guy was supposed not have them on but later down on the road I have some other good shot's and the bottom or top plane has no smoke going. I suppose its all good since he is in the front, so it make the picture still nice and uniform. Now for the second shot below was as they went up they came down, straight down.
As they came down and turned the next to shot's are of them doing just that with the cool trail of smoke going. Like these next two shot's here and I tried to get all the trail smoked shot's I could, I just like them.
After that they came into some better blue skies to get a shot off that came out pretty good but the front guy still has no smoke but it still looks pretty nice in my opinion.
After that they banked left and then broke off from one another, as you find out in the next picture.
As for the last shot, this could very well be the cover shot but I have better ones with the vapor trails coming next post and probably a few posts after that too. This is what its all about getting the vapors from the G forces they are pulling and or the sonic boom cloud in a circle around them but that happens more at the beach shows due to the water and air mixture. I'll take my vapor shot's though and continue to try and get better ones, as I for sure will be doing this again. Anyways hope your loving this switch up in a new series with this aviation photography as much as I am. I am hooked for sure after these two times I went, and really I am trying to go again before the practice is over but we shall see. Thanks for stopping by and always, have a blessed one.
Anyways appreciate everyone feedback hope you have enjoyed my shots and post today' thanks for stopping by, Have a blessed one and thank you for coming in and checking out my shot's of the day. Stay tuned and enjoy my future shots in the world of photography, thru my lens.
