Good morning everyone! It's a sunny Monday today. My first day of work under the "new normal" or General Community Quarantine (gcq). Our city's request for extension of Enhanced Community Quarantine was disapproved.
So we don't have the choice but to submit to the authorities. And as for me, I am back to my normal waking hour in the morning. I got up 5 am and do my morning routine. Then at around 7:20 am, I am out of the house already.
Today is also my first day of going to work without my service de luxe. 😁 Yeah I miss my service, the cool van going to and from the office to work. There were still no jeepneys yet. Only few tricycles. I kept running until I was able to reach the highway. Because every Monday our time in must not be later than 8 am. Praise God I was able to ride a trike almost halfway to downtown already. Then I arrived here 7:35 am. It took me 2 minutes more before having a successful finger scan. Hahahahah my goodness! Even our finger scanner is having some trouble recognizing my finger. The last time I use our finger scanner was March 16, 2020.
Then back to work as usual. My first client was a nurse, returning worker bound to Saudi Arabia. I was a little bit rattled because again it feels like its my first time to evaluate hahahaha. Thank God she's one of our Government to Government client and she have all her documents in place. It took me quite a while to process her because our internet connection is not stable.
Praise God because after that very first client our evaluators finally arrived. I am really happy to serve our client because she was also very patient and accommodating hahaha. I look forward to a more peaceful day such as this in the coming months as we are still under the new normal mode.
