When I travel I prefer to find the little local restaurants and coffee shops that are unique to each location. So, when I read this:

We wanted to touch the tiny cafes typical of Italians and really feel the spirit of their life and the pleasure that coffee brings.

I immediately understood what you meant. If we wanted to eat or drink at the places we have at home we could have stayed home. The purpose of travel is to live, breath, eat, drink, and experience what makes each place unique. Thank you for sharing your experience and love of Italian coffee.
