Hi there! This is my art for this week's contest. This time, I have decided to draw Conqueror Jaken chilling on the city. Here is my process:

Step 1

First, I established the vanishing point of my peice. I decided to just draw on a 1 point perspective.

Step 2

I then lay the groundworks by drawing the background in grayscale to stablish my values.

Step 3

I then added a new layer and set it to color, this way, I could just put my colors on the top of the painting without losing the values.

Step 4

I,then added some saturation in my piece and fixed the gradiants and value alittle more.

Step 5

I, then, cropped an image of a guy with a falcon.

Step 6

I painted over it.

Step 7

I added the design of Conqueror Jaken.

Step 8

I added a Godray using airbrush and color dodge.

Step 9

Then, I added a vignette.

Step 10

I then added a paint texture to the piece.

Step 11

Then, finally, I set the layer mode to overlay.

And that is how I made this peice! I hope you enjoyed it.
