Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏
I’m so glad to share this unexpected and memorable experience, a day when I got to meet some of the country’s legendary actors and actresses in person! ☺️❤️
One day, a friend invited me to join her in one of the cozy cafe-restaurants in Cebu. It happened to be owned by her friend, and that day, the cafe was hosting some very special guests, the famous faces from Philippine television and film. I didn’t expect that I would see them so up close! Luckily, I arrived just as they were starting lunch, and there weren’t many people around yet. I was able to enjoy the moment, take some pictures, and even see how humble and kind they were in person. ☺️❤️
Please meet Christopher de Leon, also known to many as Boyet. He’s one of the most respected actors in the Philippines, with a career spanning decades from classic movies to modern TV dramas. He has portrayed all kinds of roles, from lead characters to villains. At present, he’s part of the long-running teleserye FPJ's Batang Quiapo, where he plays the father of the lead actor Coco Martin. Seeing him in person, he looked very composed, soft-spoken, and still has that strong screen presence that made him an icon.
And of course, his lovely wife Sandy Andolong, who is also an actress. She looked so graceful and kind, no wonder many people admire her both on and off the screen.
Next, I was delighted to meet Tirso Cruz III, another well-loved veteran actor of Philippine cinema. From action and drama to family shows, he’s done it all. Many know him for his powerful acting and for being one of the Matinee Idols of his time. Just like Christopher de Leon, he’s still very active in the entertainment industry and been part of FPJ’s Ang Probinsiyano with lead actor Coco Martin as well.
And his wife, Lynn Cruz, who is also an actress. She’s very simple and charming in person. They both looked so down-to-earth and happy together with a long-lasting partnership both in love and in life. ❤️
Of course, I also took some solo photos inside the cafe to remember the day. ☺️❤️
It truly made my day seeing them not just as celebrities on screen, but as real people, humble, smiling, and approachable. Sometimes, moments like this remind us that even the stars we admire are just like us. They are ordinary people with passion and purpose. ☺️
It was definitely a nice day overall. Seeing the stars in person, not just through the screen, was such a joyful and memorable experience. ☺️❤️
Have a Blessed Tuesday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖
